AiCN is making good progress in getting a number of families to France - this has only been possible due to the generous donations of our supporters!

In November, 2023, eight out of ten families who we have been supporting in Pakistan for nearly two years, were provided with the wonderful news that they have been awarded humanitarian visas in France. As of January 2024, two of the families are already in France, two of the families will go to the US, one at the end of this month and the remaining four families are now waiting their accomodation and then can then go to France. (we will continue to lobby for the other two familes). While two of our families alredy had resources, thanks to your support, we have now been able to support two of the families to pay their overstay fees as well as extension of visas while they wait for accomodation. We still need to raise around 1500 dollars for one of the families daughter as she will require a visa which needs to be taken at the border and then raise around 8000 dollars for a family of eight to pay their overstay fines and get them their exit visas. If they do not pay these fines, they will not be allowed to leave Pakistan and could potentially be deported back to Afghanistan. We are attaching the two families profiles (with limited photos, should you wish to donate. No matter how small the donation, all money goes directly to pay these fines and to get these families to France asap. We only have 6 weeks left (29th February) when the Pakistan regime will change once again their decision on how they will deal with persons even those with legal pathways to europe. We are racing against time. Please donate today anything you can, and if you require information or have a question, please do not hesitate to ask us anything which we can help you with. Unfortuntately due to resources and the fact that we still have many families who we are supporting in Afghanistan, AiCN has not taken on any new cases in almost a year, and will soon be turning its efforts to support the lives of those who are already in Europe. https://www.gofundme.com/f/afghani-evacuation-and-resettlement-fund
