Sponsor an Afghan Family

At present we have three families who are being sponsored by private sponsors. Depending on the size of the family we give each family between 75 euros and 200 euros per month. All money collected goes straight to the families every month. At present we have three families who are being supported this way. We are hoping that in the coming months we can find an alternative for them. The money prevents them from being forced to return to Afghanistan where many will face homelessness, torture, harassment, forced marriage, and of course the women and girls will have no access to jobs, or education and will be confined to their homes while the Taliban is still in power.

By providing 25 euros a month, we at AiCN transfer the money (normally from around 5-10 donors per family (if they receive the maximum amount) and with this they are able to pay for rent for a simple flat and pay for some food. AiCN provides donors with monthly updates on the status of the family and sends photos.

If sponsors would like contact with their families, this can be arranged once we can ensure the safety of the family. We also encourage families to exchange artwork, as the children have found this a very nice way of engaging with the outside world.
